I live in a major metropolitan area (Chicagoland) and sometimes I think our local malls are more diverse than the local church.

We have a number of races and ethnicities in this area and most of our churches are not represented very well.

I am seeking any and all people to join with me in unity.

Let’s show the world what the love of God is all about.

I believe that one of the things that God wants me to do on this earth is to make sure I share His love with all people.

It doesn’t matter what race you are, what country you were born in, or what side of the tracks you’re from, we all deserve the love of God.

Just because you have a lower economic status than someone else doesn’t mean that you are a nobody.

Just because you might have made some mistakes in your past doesn’t mean that you are doomed to a unproductive life.

Just because you had kids and you weren’t married doesn’t mean that you are a dirty sinner.
(I’ll get more into that later this week).

I beleive that it is possible for all races, colors and creeds to come together in a community of faith, serving in their cities and loving God and each other.

Community Christian Church has had a total of 205 baptisms this year.

Some people think that churches focus too much on numbers.

I say we need to focus more on numbers.

205 people taking the step of faith is just amazing.
My faith has just been stretched for people in my neck of the woods.
I am looking for God to do even more than I can even ask or think.

it’s possible

One thing I love about God is that He is in the restoration business.
He loves to take our messed-up, broken-down lives and turn them into something wonderful.
He gets a kick out of taking someone who the world says is finished, and making them a shining example of what His power can do.

I believe God has placed me on this earth with a burning desire to see people realize their full potential as Christ followers.

Everyone deserves an opportunity to leave the past behind and reach toward the life that God has for them.

I absolutely LOVE this cd!!

New Breed (Israel Houghton’s group) really showed what they were made of with their debut project.
I could honestly feel the presence of God with each song.
There is something for every taste on this cd. A little praise and worship, some old-school stuff, some South African vibe, and a electric guitar groove.

I highly recommend it.
