I just sent out a survey about diversity and the church to a few people.
This is a topic that gets me fired up.
Not in a black-nationalist, confrontational way.
In a way that longs to see what heaven on earth really looks like.
I want to see the body of Christ take the lead in showing the world how to love.
It’s a shame that people still view African-americans as entertainers and showman (in the church)
It’s also a shame that some African-americans still see all white people through the lense of hatred and mistrust.
When will this all end?
I’m going to do my part to bridge the gaps.
I’m not perfect but I know His perfect love will rule in the end.
