turning the world to Christ

the principles of manhood

Reliable – you must be dependable. If you say you’re going to be somewhere, be there.
If you say you’re going to do something, do it.
Don’t let excuses form your life.
People want to trust you and what you say.
Don’t give them an excuse not to.

Educated – No, you don’t have to be a college graduate to be a REAL man.
What you should have is knowledge of what it takes to be successful in life.
You should know what it takes to have a successful marriage, a wonderful family,
stable finances and a healthy lifestyle.
Never stop learning.

Ambitious – you must have the inner drive to succeed.
You need to do whatever it takes to reach your goals.
Don’t let obstacles stop you. Use them as opportunities to boost you to the next level.
Sacrifice temporary pleasures for greater and more permanent accomplishments.

Loving – Love yourself enough to take care of your mind, body, and soul.
Feed yourself the best food, the best friends, and the best word (God’s word).
Love others enough to protect them from harm.
You are not by yourself in the world. We need each other.
Love God because, in spite of all you have done, He loved you first.
Love is the key.

There always seems to be a search for being “real”.
If we can focus on these core principles, I believe we can see a significant increase in success in marriages, families, children and finances.
Honest, authentic conversation will help us all be what we need to be.
